Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

When submitting an enquiry or paying an invoice to AwardProof, you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice.

Viruses/malware

AwardProof uses anti-virus software, and we will take every reasonable safeguard to ensure that any file originating from our website or sent via email are virus free. However, we make no warranty or guarantee that files are virus free, and we encourage our customers to check all emails, attachments and files before accessing them. We therefore cannot take responsibility for any virus contamination effecting our customers.

We respect the privacy of your personal information. Your personal information will not be passed on to any third parties.

AwardProof will take reasonable safeguards to keep all submitted information and files strictly confidential. However, since there will always be a risk when communicating online, the security of your files remains your full responsibility.

In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we will delete any personal data that we hold about our customers after one year.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AwardProof is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability of AwardProof for death or personal injury as a result of the negligence of AwardProof or that of its employees or agents.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold AwardProof and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against AwardProof arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the United Kingdom and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

Limited Warranty

AwardProof will attempt to reduce the number of errors present and document or text submitted to us. However, it may not be possible for us to remove all the errors that may be present in your final document. By ordering AwardProof’s services, you acknowledge that there may still be errors in the amended document that we return to you.

Business Liability

AwardProof cannot be held legally or otherwise responsible for any loss of business, loss of profits or any other matter related to your business.

AwardProof will not to re-sell, re-publish, or re-distribute, either for sale or otherwise, any written material submitted for proofreading. Furthermore, AwardProof will never knowingly put any material submitted any third party website or database.

AwardProof may use extracts from customer documents on its website only with explicit permission.

The customer maintains full copyright of any material submitted to AwardProof.

Refund Policy

We will consider offering a refund in the following circumstance

If we have failed to meet an agreed deadline to return your proofread work to you, AwardProof will in most cases offer you a full refund. However, AwardProof accepts no further liability for failure to deliver as estimated.

If you are unhappy with the quality of our proofreading, we will review the relevant document and consider the validity of your case. In these circumstances we may offer a full or partial refund. However, we also reserve the right to refuse to refund your payment if your complaint has no merit.

Not under any circumstances will the refund of monies be in excess of the original fee paid for the service.

Purchases/Payments

Payment is to be received in full before any work will commence. Your completed work will be returned to you electronically via e-mail; no hard copies will be posted to you.

Alterations to the Terms and Conditions

AwardProof reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions. Your contract with AwardProof will be subject to the terms and conditions at the time you have made your payment to AwardProof.

Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited.

You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. Nor may you transmit it or store it in any other website or other form of electronic retrieval system.
